Getting ready for exams! My top 10 tips!

It can be difficult to get prepaired for exams you should be revising but it's just so boring! At the moment I am going through the process of mock exams as I have been preparing I thought I would run through how I get focused and how I organise my pencil case.

Step 1
Make sure you have a timetable with all of your exam dates, times and seat numbers as you will only get stressed if you don't know what your doing.

Step 2
Make yourself a revision timetable so you know that you have regular breaks and evenly split you time between subjects.

Step 3
Learn some revision tips, for example create a mind map or colourful way of presenting the information as you areore likely to remember the information if you are interested whilst learning it. Personally my favourite way to revise is to make flash cards and although they are time consuming they actually help a lot because you can separate them into different subjects and you and your friends can test each other.

Step 4
Check you have everything you need for your exam for example If you have maths make sure you have a compass, protractor, ruler, pencils, pens and whatever other equipment you may need. When organising my pencil case I like to make sure the things I am most likely to need are easily accessible. It's just so awkward rummaging through your pensil case when everyone's silent your trying to be quite but somehow manage to make moe noise than usual.

Step 5
Make sure you have a nutritious breakfast before you leave for your exam because being Hungary will only distract you.if your exam is after lunch why not try eating a salad if you want to be healthy or each your favourite food to relax you.

Step 6
Make sure you are slightly early to your exam because if you are late you will be panicking and that's not going to get you A's.

Step 7
Before you enter the exam make sure you know how much time you have on each question so that you don't end up rushing and making mistakes.

Step 8
WATER! I can't explain how important it is it may only seem like a small factor but if you don have it you'll regret it. Bring your water in a clear bottle with no label. The water will calm you when you get those unavoidable waves of nerves it will focus you to what you are doing and you might just need a drink.

Step 9
Focus on your exam don't worry about the results because In that exam it is the only time you will be able control what you get I have learned that if you worry you are going to stress yourself out and bring down your grade.

Step 10
RELAX! If you relax the rest will fall into place. I had a 5hr art exam and I was quite nervous as I hadn't experienced an exam like this before. To be honest I was completely stressing out but then I decided that I would make my self a hot chocolate to drink on the journey to school and it worked I felt so much more comfortable and relaxed also you could spray your favourite perfume on you so it will calm you down because there will be a familiar scent.

I really hope these tips work for you and if you have exams good luck and don't stress!
